The location of Hotel Truida is unique, right on the Boulevard with its shipping right in front of it.
Most of the spacious rooms have a panoramic, always fascinating and changing view over the estuary of the Westerschelde.
In the atmospheric breakfast restaurant, located underneath the hotel, you can enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet and here you can enjoy also the beautiful view of the water.
The center is a five-minute walk away and a visit to Belgium with the fashionable seaside resort of Knokke and the historic cities of Bruges and Ghent, accessible via the Westerschelde-tunnel, are certainly worthwhile for a day trip. Closer by you will find the pleasant town of Domburg, the atmospheric Veere with its hidden gems and Middelburg with its many monumental buildings.
When you return, relax on our uniquely located floating terrace with a snack and/or a drink until evening falls for another new and wonderful day.
OWNERS
Pedro and Arlette Ventevogel have many years of restaurant experience and are now the proud owners of Hotel Truida. They have been running the hotel with great pleasure since March 30, 2018. They do not do this alone. Together with their small, friendly team, they ensure that you lack nothing.
Arlette, Sylvia and Violeta are hostesses and they give you a warm welcome; Pedro is a jack of all trades and helps out where necessary.
Chefs Stefan and Sergio (youngest son of Pedro and Arlette) will run the floating terrace and restaurant (only opened till 6 pm)
Anja has been providing breakfast with us for many years with lots of love and attention to all guests.
Housekeeping ladies Liliana and Kanchana ensure that everything is and remains neat and tidy.

Rooms
At Hotel Truida, you will stay cosy as if you were with your family or friends. Your guest room is cosy and comfortable equipped with personal attention and meant as a voyage of discovery, partly due to a combination of character and originality, with a beach feeling dominated. You choose the one you want to stay, depending on your budget and/ or wishes.
The hotel has twenty spacious double rooms. Twelve rooms on the seaside and eight city-side rooms.
There are four different types of rooms and all rooms are accessible by elevator. You can choose from a city view room, a sea view room, a comfort sea view room and a comfort plus sea view room.
Each room is equipped with a private shower/ toilet, two twin beds (90x200cm), TV, free WiFi, safe, fridge and coffee- and tea facilities. The comfort sea view rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and the comfort plus sea view room has doors to open, a French balcony, a rain shower and a Nespresso machine.
Plenty of choice so, where the hospitality of our whole team will remain the main concern.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Five days before arrival you will receive the arrival information below by email so that you can read everything again
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
You can purchase a parking permit from us in advance for €10 per car per night. Better book in advance! We need your license plate for this.
You can park with our parking permit at the front of the hotel (on the Boulevard) or at the rear of the hotel (Deltaweg, Kenau Hasselaarstraat and the P-Cinema parking lot next to the cinema). In the P-Cinema car park you will also find parking spaces to charge your car electrically.
Holders of a disabled parking card can also only use a parking permit from the hotel if they want to park on the Boulevard (front) or directly at the rear (Deltaweg) of the hotel. The general disabled parking spaces on the Boulevard already exist or will be discontinued; parking here is no longer allowed.
Parking at the backside:
If you choose to park your car at the rear, you can enter the hotel through our back door, which is located on Deltaweg.
Parking on the boulevard (front):
If you want to park your car on the boulevard, you must take into account that the boulevard is only accessible to vehicles that have a special permit (parking permit).
Hotel guests who use a parking card or wish to use a parking card upon check-in have access to the car and parking area on the boulevard. There is a leniency period of 1.5 hours between entering the boulevard and registering your license plate.
CHECK - IN
Check-in daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the latest
From 6 p.m. check-in is only possible via our key safe!
Please contact reception no later than 4:00 PM on the day of arrival for further information regarding check-in via the key safe
The reception is open daily from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
CHECK - OUT
From 8 am to 11 am at the latest at reception
GENERAL INFORMATION
All rooms are accessible by elevator (and stairs); 24 hours a day
We have a covered and lockable bicycle shed at the rear of the hotel (full=full; you cannot reserve a place)
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and public areas
There is a front and rear entrance/exit
Dogs are welcome (surcharge 15 euros per dog per night). We do not charge a surcharge for assistance dogs
Bicycle rental possible in the nearby area
Baby bed or extra bed available (subject to payment and reservation)

DOGS
Your beloved four-legged friend is also very welcome in our hotel.
Our location offers many possibilities with the beach right on your doorstep.
You must adhere to the dog rules if you come to stay with us with your four-legged friend.
DOG RULES
In the hotel the dog must be kept on a leash
Your four-legged friend is welcome in the breakfast restaurant and on our floating terrace, but must lie under the table during the entire visit.
The dog may not be fed in these areas
We consciously choose to welcome dogs in the breakfast restaurant and on our floating terrace to prevent noise disturbance if they are left in the room in a strange environment.
So don't leave your dog alone in the hotel room. Even though your dog is used to being alone at home; A dog can react very differently on strange terrain and with unfamiliar sounds. We would like to prevent nuisance caused by barking dogs.
Please clean up dog poop in the immediate area of the hotel yourself. You will receive a dog bag at check-in.
Accidents within the hotel must also be cleaned up (and reported) by the dog owner.
Conditions & contact
BOOKING CONDITIONS DIRECT BOOKERS
Check-in between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM; Check-in from 6 p.m. via our key safe. You must contact us no later than 4 p.m. on the day of arrival so that we can provide the necessary information and locker code.
You must provide a valid credit card (with expiration date) as a guarantee when booking.
If you cannot provide a credit card guarantee, a 100% payment must be made no later than 10 days before the arrival date.
When booking five rooms or more, the cancellation conditions apply in accordance with the Uniform Conditions of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland. You can receive this from us by e-mail upon request.
If you bring your dog(s) with you (for a fee), you adhere to the dog rules.
Hotel Truida is completely non-smoking. It is strictly prohibited to smoke in the hotel, as well as to use, trade or possess drugs in the hotel. In the event of a violation, the tenant will immediately be charged 300 euros; If the fire brigade even has to respond (unnecessarily) as a result, these additional costs will be on top of this.
CANCELLATION POLICY DIRECT BOOKERS
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to four days before the arrival date. You pay the total price of the reservation if you cancel within four days before your arrival date.
If you do not show up, you are obliged to pay 100% of the reservation value to Hotel Truida.
If you use the option (during the booking process) to cancel flexibly, you can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 12 hours one day before arrivaldate. For any reason.
